Deanna Geelhoed works to restore the healthy and beauty of the Plaster Creek Watershed, through here work at Calvin College with the Plaster Creek Stewards Initiative. Through this work she enjoys educating others about how to care for our waterways, conducting research, and managing restoration projects. In her free time she manages the community garden at Creston CRC, the church she is a member at. Within her roles at Creston she serves as a deacon, youth teacher, and a member of the anti-racism team. You can often find Deanna spending time swimming in our local lakes and rivers. 

Ron Geerlings is the West Africa Regional Director for Christian Reformed World Missions. 

Glendyne Gerrard has directed Defend Dignity since its founding in 2010. She loves working with women who have survived sexual exploitation. Glendyne lives in Oakville, Ontario with her husband Douglas. When she’s not working she loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Dominique DuBois Gilliard is a pastor at New Hope Covenant Church in Oakland California. He is also a board member of the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) and the director of racial reconciliation pilgrimages for the Pacific Southwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Dominique is a graduate of North Park Theological Seminary.

Mark Glanville, PhD, is a scholar-pastor who pastors in a new-monastic urban community, Grandview Church, Vancouver. Mark is also Professor of Old Testament and congregational studies at the Missional Training Center, Phoenix. Mark has authored “Family for The Displaced: A New Paradigm for the Gēr in Deuteronomy” (Ancient Israel and its Literature; SBL, 2018), a book on Exodus (Lexham, 2018), numerous refereed articles (including in the Journal of Biblical Literature, forthcoming), and book chapters. Mark is presently co-authoring a book, Providing Refuge: A Missional and Political Theology

Rudy Gonzalez is a husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to people who are in need. In the last 18 years, he has been part of church planting teams, community development and racial equity work. Prior to working in justice work, he worked in the aerospace industry. Engaging leaders in justice work is important to Rudy because he was raised by a single mother who came to the United States without documents. Rudy loves spending time with his wife of 37 years, Vicki. Together they have four grown children. Three are married and the youngest one is still single. Rudy has 3 grandchildren who live in Phoenix.

Emily Groen is a member of First Hamilton CRC in Hamilton, Ontario and part of a Community of Practice focused on Justice and Reconciliation. 

Carissa Groot-Nibbelink is studying for a Masters of Arts in Immigration and Settlement Studies at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario.
