Emily Groen is a member of First Hamilton CRC in Hamilton, Ontario and part of a Community of Practice focused on Justice and Reconciliation. 

Carissa Groot-Nibbelink is studying for a Masters of Arts in Immigration and Settlement Studies at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario. 

Janessa Grypma is a 4th year Education student at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC who collects stories, not souvenirs.

Elizabeth Guillaume-Koene is Interim Pastor at Hebron Christian Reformed Church in Whitby, Ontario. She enjoys creating, especially through crochet, cross-stitch, and gardening.  Elizabeth lives in Bowmanville with her husband, three boys, dog, 2 peacocks and 12 chickens.

Joe Gunn is the Executive Director of Citizens for Public Justice, a faith-based, member-driven public policy organization in Ottawa.

 

Gail Gunst Heffner is a faculty member at Calvin College and currently serves as the Director of Community Engagement in the Office of the Provost. Her PhD is in Urban Studies and Resource Development from Michigan State University and she holds a master’s degree in Economic and Social Development from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research/scholarship interests include community-based research, engaged scholarship, community development, and environmental service-learning. She is a co-author of Commitment and Connection: Service-Learning and Christian Higher Education. She is one of the founders of the Plaster Creek Stewards and is serving as the principal administrator for a Clean Water Act 319 grant for watershed restoration in the Plaster Creek watershed, begun in January 2013.

Brandon Haan is the associate pastor at Brookfield CRC in Brookfield, WI.

Jane lives in Vancouver, BC with her husband and their two young boys, Ben (’08) and Sam (’11). She is a member of First CRC Vancouver. Jane has an MDiv from Regent College and works as a certified coach. She helps people figure out everything from career changes to issues of faith to health goals. Her favourite description of her coaching is pastoral care meets your to-do list. Some other favourite things are witty humorists, swimming and Mexican food.

Sarah Hamm is a volunteer for Hope Equals and recently co-led a 6-week educational trip to Palestine. She is currently studying Arabic, and hopes to one day work in the Middle East full-time. Sarah currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
