Peter Vander Meulen has served as the Coordinator for the Office of Social Justice and Hunger Action (OSJ) of the Christian Reformed Church (CRCNA) since establishing the office in 1995. His concentration on social justice work grew directly out of his 23 years of employment with the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee in Central America, Asia, the Caribbean, and West Africa. As the OSJ coordinator he is responsible for leading the justice education and advocacy work of the CRCNA as well as its refugee resettlement efforts in the US. Peter and his wife, Peggi, have three grown children and presently reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
