Evelyn Oudyk has been working in a church office since the age of 14, when she began printing church bulletins. For the last 25 years she has continued with that work at Hope Fellowship Church in Courtice. When she is not working, she loves heading out into the snow with husband Gary and spending time with children and grandchildren.
Evelyn has a fascination with First Nations Culture that dates back to grade school days. It has led to some interesting adventures including hosting Ovide Beghetty’s Creator’s Sacrifice paintings and inviting a couple hundred people to experience the Blanket Exercise while enjoying the beautiful paintings. The most recent adventure was working with a group of people to bring Jonathan Maracle’s music home by presenting the Day for Truth and Reconciliation Concert on Sept. 30, 2023.
